The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Creative Technology Ltd of Singapore, created as a result of an acquisition in March 1993 of E-mu Systems and the January 1998 acquisition of Ensoniq, of Malvern Pennsylvania. The combined E-MU / ENSONIQ Corporation allows Creative to access the industry's finest audio technology for next generation audio products, while E-MU / ENSONIQ continues to develop new leading edge capabilities focused on the needs of entry level, hobbyist and professional musicians and audio engineers.
